{"id":105,"date":"2006-05-16T11:29:53","date_gmt":"2006-05-16T11:29:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.strangelyironic.net\/2020\/08\/25\/bwl-boss-2-vaelestraz\/"},"modified":"2020-09-16T22:43:52","modified_gmt":"2020-09-16T12:43:52","slug":"bwl-boss-2-vaelestraz","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.strangelyironic.net\/bwl-boss-2-vaelestraz\/","title":{"rendered":"BWL Boss , 2 &#8211; Vaelestraz"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>What does Vaelestraz?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Essence of the Red: (Buff)<\/strong>&#8211; Gives the raid a 3 min buff that has different effects depending on what class you are,\n<ul>\n<li>Casters gain 500 mana per second<\/li>\n<li>Rogues gain 50 Energy per second<\/li>\n<li>Warriors gain 30 range per second<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li><strong>Flame Breath<\/strong>&#8211; A frontal attack that does around 5000 damage, the higher your Fire resistance is, the lower the damage you will take.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fire Nova<\/strong>&#8211; This is a massive AoE attack that can not be out ranged, it does about 500-1000 damage each time it is cast, as with Flame Breath a Higher Fire Resist help you. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Burning Adrenalin<\/strong> &#8211; For 18 seconds, all your abilities are instant cast. After 18 seconds you will explode and anyone in range of the explosion will take heavy damage, and maybe kill them.\n<ul>\n<li>Cast on a mana user every 45 seconds.<\/li>\n<li>Cast on a tank every 45 seconds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Positioning &#038; Pull <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mages, Warlocks, Hunters are place just to the left of the door, near the pillar as u walk in. (Warlocks place their imps with the Tanks).    <\/li>\n<li>Rogues (and the Rogue party healers) are on the far side of Vael against the wall (opposite the door), and run in once fight starts.<\/li>\n<li>The  the healers (not the rogue healers) are  to the right upon entering Vael&#8217;s room to heal the MT&#8217;s. Ensure you can heal all the people you are supposed to be healing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Fight<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Once the fight has been triggered, and the MT has landed a few Sunders on Vael, the other warriors go in and begin to build aggro. They try to ensure that <\/li>\n<li>All DPS on Vael after a few seconds. This is a DPS fight, where aggro must be controlled. <\/li>\n<li>Druids and Paladins  heal the MTs.<\/li>\n<li>Priests cast Prayer of Healing on their groups.<\/li>\n<li>If you get Burning Adrenalin, you must immediately go to your assigned area to blow up. However, you can continue casting from there. <\/li>\n<li>Hunter \/ Mage \/ Warlock Burning Adrenaline assigned area is to the west corner. Rogues will not get Burning Adrenalin. <\/li>\n<li>Healers are to run to the East Corner. <\/li>\n<li>Rage, Energy and Mana is not a problem in this fight, as you regenerate as fast as you use it. This fight is all about aggro control, and keeping people alive. <\/li>\n<li>Full FR gear must be worn on this fight. All players should have 250+ FR. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>From a class point of view<\/strong><\/p>\n<table width=80%  border=1 align=center cellpadding=3 cellspacing=0 bordercolor=,000000>\n<tr bgcolor=,FFE4AE>\n<td width=10% valign=top>Druids<\/td>\n<td width=90%>\n<ul>\n<li>Druids heal the MTs. Concentrate heals on the MT who has aggro, however, keep the other MTs alive. <\/li>\n<li>When the 1st tank dies Druids should switch to the next tank asap and keep him alive until he gets Burning Adrenalin.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>If you get Burning Adrenalin:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use Healing Touch on the MTs, and anyone else who needs healing. This has now become an instant cast spell. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr bgcolor=,C6ECB3>\n<td valign=top>Hunters<\/td>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li>Hunters are part of the DPS group.<\/li>\n<li>IF a hunter has improved hunters mark, they should use it when ever its not on Vael.<\/li>\n<li>Hunters should FD as often as possible to minimise aggro. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr bgcolor=,A8CBFF>\n<td valign=top>Mages<\/td>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li>Mages are part of the DPS group.<\/li>\n<li>Mages need to ensure they do not pull aggro.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>If you get Burning Adrenalin:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cast Frostbolt continuously.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr bgcolor=,FFC4FF>\n<td valign=top>Paladins<\/td>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li>All Paladins are healing the MTs. Concentrate heals on the MT who has aggro, however, keep the other MTs alive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Buffs:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fire resist aura should be  on.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr bgcolor=,FFFFFF>\n<td valign=top>Priests<\/td>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li>Prayer of Healing is used in this fight.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>If you get Burning Adrenalin:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use Greater Heal on the MTs, and anyone else who needs healing. This has now become an instant cast spell. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr bgcolor=,FFFFA6>\n<td valign=top>Rogues<\/td>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li>Rogues are part of the  DPS group.<\/li>\n<li>Feign as often as possible to ensure aggro is kept under control.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr bgcolor=,CFC0EF>\n<td valign=top>Warlocks<\/td>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li>Warlocks are part of the DPS group.<\/li>\n<li>Warlocks need to ensure they do not pull aggro.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr bgcolor=,D8AFAF>\n<td valign=top>Warriors<\/td>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li>An order will be assigned to the MTs.
